Creative Meetup

Last Thursday I hosted a small get together at Idealty, a real estate company. I was ecstatic when I brought up the idea of a meet up to the owner of the company, Matt Andelman, and he encouraged using his space to execute this event. I wanted to have a sort of formal but informal gathering, where artists that work in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, music, etc.) could come and be inspired by the work of others. I've always found that surrounding yourself with like minded individuals allows you to develop ideas you may be stuck on. 

With it being the first time this gathering happened, I wanted to keep the guest list rather small and focus on building the artistic relationships I already have. My goal is to make this a into a monthly meeting, so that amongst our busy schedules we can make some time to create. 

I have been working on my photography skills and was super excited to pull out my camera and shoot. I have so many people to thank for supporting my journey and encouraging me to expand my skills. Here's the final edits from my shoot with Marine Elodie. She totally rocked this look and is a very talented artist as well. She hand embroidered her boots and has an Etsy shop that features her hand made products.
