Serenity Rogers + Meg Remien
This shoot was a delight to be a part of. The photographer booked a studio space at Lumber Studios for us to work in, and indeed we got to work. Serenity, our beautiful model, traveled quite a distance to shoot in the city. I was grateful she made the journey, because we got some beautiful shots. The photog, Meg, works both with digital and film, so she switched between the two during the shoot. I absolutely love how film looks, with that vintage feel you’d have to add in post when you shoot digitally.

I’m going to share the film photos first since I am so in love with them.

Quick makeup breakdown:
I used barely any foundation on Serenity, since her skin is flawless and I love her freckles, so I didn’t want them covered.
I used primarily all Danessa Myrick’s products
Beauty Oil to prep her skin
Vision Creme Cover for foundation (only a few drops)
Glossier Cloud Paint on cheeks
I used the Spellbound Stilazzi palette in for her eyebrows, only adding a bit of powder to fill in parts
For the pink on her eyes and lips I used Danessa Myrick’s Waterproof Vivid Cream Palette
XOXO,
Mink
